Weekes made his test debut at his early age of 22 at England 1947-48 tour of the Caribbean and he is also the first man to score five Test countries in consecutive innings....an unforgettable record.

Though Sir Everton Weekes has a small stature, but that never denied him domination of opposition bowling attacks and for that it was predicted that he would continue to perform and deliver for the west Indies side which he did when named by the Wisden as one of it's best five cricketers of the year 1950.

When he might have collected 4,455 rest run at average of 58.61 and 15 centuries,he finished and as well stopped his international playing career.

Sir Everton Weekes as a passionate a very good player began playing for westshire cricket club in the Barbados cricket league as his local club pickwick catered only to white players at the age of 13 , although there was a lot of discrimination in the team but that did not stop his ambition.

Sir Everton Weekes went across so many intimidating attitudes from the  whites, but that doesn't discourage him in his line of  career and that should be a very good lesson to the young people who are still in the beginning and middle of life.
