The Formal Borno State Gov. Sheriff Visits The APC National Secretariat

Ali Modu Sheriff, the ex-governor of borno State visited the APC National Secretariat unexpectedly on Thursday evening.

His visit to the party national Secretariat was said to be a way of finding some satisfactory solutions to contest for the office of the national Chairman of the party (APC),and there was a report that some men working with him was having some plans in secret in order to get the National Executive Committee of the party to make some certain changes in the zoning formula, so as to make it easier for him in his contest for the office of the national Chairman of the party (APC).

Ex governor Ali Modu Sheriff was once a member of the APC but later moved to be the acting National Chairman in the People's democratic party PDP and then, returned to his formal party, after being removed from the office.

"It will not be an appreciative and a great thing to have a northern All Progressive Party APC chairman to make power shift easier in 2023"the party chieftain,Amb. Dagogo Fubara said.

He also said that if the norths are so desperate to have APC National Chairman,they should then release the presidency to the east and the east are capable of producing a candidate that can lead effectively.
