Nasarawa State Proposals on Disqualifying Unqualified Teachers in the State.

There have been some numbers of unqualified teachers in nasarawa State and the state ministry of education has been able to investigate and identified up to 1,251 teachers that are to be sacked.

This was announced by the Executive Chairman, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) Muhammad Musa Dan’azimi who also reviewed that seven-man implementation committee has been set up to help in fishing out some others that are still hidden.

These committee will help to disengage all the primary  school teachers that are not with a good qualifications to be teaching in a school, and this committee has been urged by the federal Ministry of education, to make sure they carried out their duties with all diligence and no fear of favours from anyone.

 The board Secretary, Hajiya Hashiya Ahmed, Dan’azimis clearly said that, there are also chances for the affected one to get registered with National Teachers Institute (NTI) and College of Education, Akwanga to obtain requisite teaching qualifications, and after that, they will be re-employed.

The aims of the ministry for this, is to avoid any quackry in the teaching professions in nasarawa State, so that the students in nasarawa will be able to get the quality education which they deserve.

Previously, the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu had warned all the unqualified teachers to go and obtain some necessary teaching qualities, but it seems that so many of them never listened and now, Chairman of the implementation committee and Director, planning, Research and Statistics in the board, Isah Eyah has in a special way thanked the management for selecting them to enforce the proposal.
